FIVE YEARS AND RUNNING STRONG!
Team Rio is a group of dedicated, energetic runners and walkers who trained together and participated in the Country Music Marathon or ½ Marathon on April 25, 2009 plus friends just joining the team running the Murfreesboro "Middle Half Marathon" on Saturday, October 3, 2009. We also have some over-achievers running in Chicago and other cities - it seems there is no end to the depths of Team Rio!
These runners and walkers are special because they also raise pledges for the children of Big Brothers Big Sisters... while also providing an excellent role model and promoting physical fitness to Middle Tennessee’s youth.
